What We’re Looking For:
3+ years’ Estimating experience in the Disaster Restoration industry—Residential and Commercial experience required in: Water, Storm, Fire, Smoke, Mold/Asbestos, Contents, Biohazard & Large Loss
Possess a strong Restoration background and be able to communicate with Insurance Adjusters/Reps
Must have a solid working knowledge of writing and reading Xactimate/Xactanalysis software; MICA Moisture Mapper, Symbility, Contractor Connection, PSA and other similar industry experience a plus; must be tech savvy
Proven ability to oversee and manage 5-10 projects at one time

What You’ll Do:
The Restoration Mitigation Estimator is responsible for estimating, selling, and oversight of restoration Mitigation/Remediation projects, performing site inspections, document losses with accurate measurements, notes and photographs with strong attention to detail; estimating the cost of the entire project through the use of Xactimate; negotiating costs with insurance carrier representatives; communicating with the Production Manager issues that will affect the project schedule, progress and/or budget.
Use Xactimate software to estimate residential and commercial water, fire, mold & biohazard restoration projects
Respond to property damage emergency calls when required
Negotiate restoration services and insurance claims settlements
Handle all estimating inquiries for and demonstrate a “high level” of problem resolution and technical assistance.
Submits estimates in a timely matter determined by company requirements
Must be able to secure signatures, close jobs and upsell projects
Establish and maintain client relationships as well as with insurance adjusters and claim representatives
Communicates job scope, materials and equipment needed with project manager and subcontractors
Participate in an on-call schedule as needed
Maintain a high degree of integrity and loyalty toward the company and brand
Qualified candidates may have past experience in: Disaster Restoration, Mitigation, Remediation, Water Damage, Project Manager, Emergency Loss, Insurance Loss
